We seem to finally be feeling better after what seems like months of one sickness after another.. ah! Praise Jesus I didn't get the stomach flu that hit Halle and Jade so hard last week and over the weekend. I truly feel like I was miraculously protected-- and I am truly truly thankful!! My stomach was already sore from coughing- I don't know what puking would have done for me. Jade has been reading Halle a story out of her Bible story book at night before bed and a few nights ago they were reading about Noah and the great flood. Jade turned the page and read "Then it started to rain.."... Halle burst into song "Down came the rain and washed the spider out!!" We laughed so hard. So now she thinks that "Itsy bitsy spider" is a song about Noah. :) Another night Halle was feeling so sick and was crying and Jade was trying to cheer her up. He asked her if she wanted to sing a song and she said "NO!" He listed about 5 of her favorite songs and she said "NO!" to all of them. Then he asked her if she wanted to sing the "Halle is a stinker" song and she smiled and said "Yes!". So Jade made up a very extensive song about Halle being a stinker and she loved it! I am so thankful for a husband that loves being a daddy and isn't afraid to be silly to make his sick little girl smile!! :) We didn't do anything super exciting with all us feeling so icky this week.. but I took a few cute pictures of Halle sitting on her potty chair reading her books... silly girl!
