As many of you have heard, our beautiful little valley is on FIRE!! Thank you for all your calls and prayers. Our house is still several miles from the fire, but many of our friends have been evacuated from their homes so it is a bit of a stressful time. We are just dealing with a lot of smoke right now. Below are a few pictures that friends and other locals have take of the fire and smoke. There are over 1600 firefighters up here right now with tons of engines and helicopters. So far no homes have been damaged!! Keep praying though- as 1400 more people were evacuated last night. I think this fire is a long way from being put out.
